Position Title: Lead HRMS Specialist
Position in City: Dallas, TX
Position Details: BASIC FUNCTION:

Manages the strategic direction, ongoing development and integration of the Human Resource Information System. Develops and directs on-going administration of the Human Resource Management System including selection of software and hardware and maintenance of data. Promotes accurate and consistent reporting of HR data across the enterprise to support the needs of people managers.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with key stakeholders/business partners to determine areas for optimization, manage issues and develop solutions to improve and streamline existing processes.

2. Provide content and thought leadership to identify technology and lead innovation opportunities within HR.

3. Accountable for implementing approved recommendations.

4. Prepares budget for development, implementation and maintenance of computerized system.

5. Ensure the enterprise tools and systems are in place to enable accurate reporting for enterprise operational HR data. Promote the adoption of a standard suite of reports across the enterprise for people managers.

6. Work with HR Business Partners and staff to develop robust capabilities for analyzing HRMS data in support of enterprise strategic goals.

7. Develop process and system documentation for HR Applications and system training documentation to encourage the proper use of HR systems, and conduct necessary user training.

8. Gather, document, and produce requirements related to new HRMS systems or additional functionality of existing HRMS systems.

9. Perform on-going software research and study to know, understand, and stay current on functionality available in software releases related to HRMS system and to determine if market products match organizational needs.

10. Perform duties personally or through subordinates while providing direction, knowledge and support to other team members when needed.

11. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Bachelor’s degree in BA/BS or a related field and 6 years related experience in design, development, implementation, project management.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

NUMERIC SKILLS:
Requires the ability to apply research methods, and/or advanced statistical and/or accounting methods.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Requires basic computer skills in order to utilize various software applications for developing documents, reports and graphics.

WORK CONDITIONS:
Works in an office environment.
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
