Bret Eckert was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on October 1, 2012. Prior to joining the Company in June 2012, Eckert was an Assurance Partner with Ernst & Young LLP.

Eckert brings more than 20 years of experience in the natural gas utilities industry. He has extensive experience with SEC reporting matters and filings, regulatory accounting and reporting matters, equity/debt offerings, significant mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, public offerings, and technical accounting and financial matters.

Eckert holds a bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a previous graduate of Leadership Dallas and remains active in the community.
