Tom S. Hawkins, Jr.
Tom Hawkins was named President of the Louisiana Division in July 2004. He previously had been President of Energas Company, the predecessor to the Texas Division, since October 2000. Hawkins joined Atmos Energy in 1997 as Vice President of Planning and Budgeting. Previously, Hawkins was Vice President of Finance and Planning with the former United Cities Gas Company. He joined United Cities in 1988 as Vice President of Finance. From 1978 to 1988, Hawkins worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. where he managed audits and financial consulting engagements.
He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and has completed The University of Tennessee Executive Development Program.
