Missouri Energy Efficiency Program - Energy Efficiency Education
Atmos Energy is underwriting educational materials and programs for use by students from kindergarten through 12th grade
in our Missouri service area.
The Energy Savers Tips booklet provides 100 energy savings and related safety tips that can help families save money by
following simple instructions. The booklet is 26 pages long and is attractively illustrated. It is a great learning tool for energy efficiency
and budget management classes.
A Children's Energy Savings Activity Booklet
This children's coloring and activity booklet is 24 pages and is appropriate for children ages 3 to 6. It describes how Billy and Maria
learn how to use energy safely and work with their parents to save energy in their home. The booklet was authored by Bob Lehrman, who has
written several award-winning books for young people, including his novel Juggling, an American Library Association Best Book.
In addition, the following online resources contain educational information about energy conservation and ways to
reduce energy consumption using low-cost conservation methods.
