A unique online tutoring program pairs 18 Mississippi Division employees with first-grade students at Clausell Elementary for tutoring sessions once a week throughout the school year. Tutors sign up for a specific day and time to spend 30 minutes per week with their assigned student.
Atmos Energy Bike Team Raises $13,000 for Multiple Sclerosis Research

Twenty two Atmos Energy riders participated in the company’s 10th year of participation in the Bike MS event. The group raised $13,000 for multiple sclerosis research. Since 2009, the team has brought in more than $162,000 for the cause. The Big Tex cooker provided meals near Lake Grapevine for riders on day one. The day-one rest stop for more than 1,800 cyclists was hosted by the Denton Service Center at an elementary school. 

Atmos Energy Donates Ninth Mobile Services Bus

Atmos Energy donated a 19-passenger bus to Discover Goodwill. The vehicle, named Mission in Motion, will be used by Discover Goodwill’s Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, providing heating assistance in the winter to low-income households throughout southern and western Colorado.

The seventh annual Hero Day in West Point, Miss. allowed Atmos Energy employees to thank the first responders of Clay County. The lunch was attended by more than 140 police, fire and ambulance personnel and emergency dispatchers.
