The seventh annual Hero Day in West Point, Miss. allowed Atmos Energy employees to thank the first responders of Clay County. The lunch was attended by more than 140 police, fire and ambulance personnel and emergency dispatchers. Employees cooked and served chicken, brisket and pulled pork from the ever-popular roasted pig, which is slow-cooked over hot coals for 11 hours.

“Hero Day is always a hit and is a great way to build relationships between Atmos Energy and the men and women charged with keeping Clay County safe,” says Director of Public Affairs Robert Lesley.
