Atmos Energy partnered with Owensboro-Daviess Habitat for Humanity to build a ZNE home in Owensboro, Kentucky. This house will provide a family with an energy efficient and comfortable home that leverages natural gas and renewable energy for lower emissions and affordable utility bills.

Jamie Sowders is a single mother of four children—Jamya, Jamasia, Camille, and Kingston. Jamie has set the example by working hard and is raising her children to be involved and excel in school and the community. Jamya will graduate from nursing school, with an associate’s degree, and will begin her bachelor’s program this coming fall; Jamasia, a high school cheerleader, works as a lifeguard at Atlantis Swim Club; Camille is active with middle school cheerleading; and Kingston is playing middle school football and baseball.
