DALLAS – What better thing to give than warmth this winter season? Help your neighbors stay warm and safe this winter through a program that rounds up your natural gas bill and donates it directly to assistance programs in your community. What amounts to only pennies a month can help keep heaters running, stovetops cooking and hot water flowing for families as temperatures drop.

“Last year, we assisted more than 12,000 customers with their natural gas bills and know that with your help we can grow that even more this year,” said Manager of Customer Advocacy Dan Alderson. “If your total bill is $22.80 then 20 cents would go toward our Sharing the Warmth program, and those pennies can really make a difference. If all three million of our customers rounded up their bill, then we could assist more than 90,000 customers in need.”

Atmos Energy's Sharing the Warmth program provides funds to local assistance agencies to help the elderly, disabled, veterans and families in need pay their natural gas bills. This community program is supported by Atmos Energy employees, shareholders and matching funds and your entire contribution goes directly to keeping your neighbors warm.
