Project Updates and Information

Prior to beginning work in 2025, Atmos Energy met with City of Farmers Branch officials to inform them about our plans to modernize our system. Impacted property owners were then notified about Phase 1 pre-construction activities, including engineering studies and land surveys, and Atmos Energy representatives worked or are working directly with residents to address encroachments on our pipeline right-of-way. Phase 1 (Pre-construction Activities) is complete for this project. Many areas have entered the Construction Phase, and several have completed the restoration phase.

The map below indicates approximate locations and project status for ongoing projects. As construction continues, property owners can expect to receive notifications via letter before right-of-way preparations and construction activity begins. If construction activities impact your trash service, mail delivery, or require street closures, we will leave a tag on your front door indicating the temporary impact(s) and duration.
