  1. If your natural gas piping or appliance needs repair, please contact a qualified professional. If you need a referral to a qualified dealer, the Gas Dealer Network can provide a list of licensed plumbers and heating/air conditioning contractors in your area*
  2. Complete city inspection or permit requirements (if applicable). Contact your city or county for details.
  3. Call Atmos Energy 888.286.6700 during business hours to schedule an appointment to reconnect your service.
  4. During the appointment, ­you may choose to have an Atmos Energy technician enter your home or business to relight gas appliances that are accessible and in a safe working condition. However, this is not a substitute for routine or manufacturer-recommended safety inspections and maintenance of your appliances and gas piping. Your gas piping and appliances are your responsibility and should be inspected periodically. A responsible adult 18 or older must be present.

*Customers are not required to use a dealer from the Atmos Energy Gas Dealer Network for repairs or appliance replacement. This referral service is a courtesy to our customers.
